Do you supply the mount?
No — you buy the mount that fits your TV and your wall, and I install it. That keeps the price flat and means you own a part you can take with you. If you're not sure which one to get, text me the TV model and I'll tell you what to look for.
What if my wall isn't drywall over studs?
Plaster and lath, brick, and concrete all take longer and need different anchors. Text me a photo of the wall and I'll tell you before I come out whether the price changes.
Can you hide the cords inside the wall?
I route and tuck cords along the wall and behind furniture as part of every mount. Running new cable inside a finished wall is a separate job — ask and I'll quote it.
Can you mount above a fireplace?
Usually yes. Height and heat matter, so send a photo of the fireplace and the space above it first and I'll tell you honestly whether it's a good idea for that particular setup.

TV mounting and flat screen installation across San Diego
Flat screen TV installation in San Diego is really two different jobs depending on which side of the 805 you live on. West of it, in North Park, Kensington, Golden Hill and most of La Jolla, you are usually mounting into lath and plaster over framing that predates any standard about where studs go. East and north — Mira Mesa, Scripps Ranch, Carmel Valley, Eastlake — it is drywall over reliable 16-inch centres and the bracket goes up in under an hour. I quote the same flat price either way, because you should not pay extra for the age of your house.
The other San Diego specific is the fireplace. Post-war homes here put a stucco or stone chimney breast in the middle of the main wall, and it is almost always the spot people want the TV. Sometimes that works. Often the screen ends up high enough that an evening of watching gives you a sore neck, and the heat above a working firebox is worth a conversation first. Send a photo of the wall before you buy a mount and I will tell you honestly whether it is the right wall.
