What's different about TV Mounting here
Drywall over conventional framing, well built, studs where they should be. A standard mount here is one of the faster jobs in the county. What makes Poway distinctive is the ceiling: a great many of these plans have vaulted living rooms or two-storey entries, and people often want the TV mounted well above eye level to suit the room's proportions.
That's worth talking about before I arrive. Mounting high looks right in a photo and is uncomfortable to watch from a sofa — anything much above about 15 degrees of upward viewing angle gets tiring. I'll bring what's needed for the height either way; I'd just rather set it where you'll actually enjoy it. East Poway and High Valley are rural with long driveways and unsigned roads, so send a landmark or a gate code with the address.

Tell me the ceiling height and roughly how far the sofa sits from the wall when you text from Poway. Those two numbers together determine the right mount height, and in these vaulted rooms getting it wrong is the difference between a room you enjoy and a neck ache. If you're set on mounting high, buy a mount with real downward tilt rather than a flat one — a fixed bracket at nine feet points the screen at the ceiling opposite. For east Poway, include a gate code.

Do you supply the mount?
No — you buy the mount that fits your TV and your wall, and I install it. That keeps the price flat and means you own a part you can take with you. If you're not sure which one to get, text me the TV model and I'll tell you what to look for.
What if my wall isn't drywall over studs?
Plaster and lath, brick, and concrete all take longer and need different anchors. Text me a photo of the wall and I'll tell you before I come out whether the price changes.
Can you hide the cords inside the wall?
I route and tuck cords along the wall and behind furniture as part of every mount. Running new cable inside a finished wall is a separate job — ask and I'll quote it.
Can you mount above a fireplace?
Usually yes. Height and heat matter, so send a photo of the fireplace and the space above it first and I'll tell you honestly whether it's a good idea for that particular setup.

TV mounting in Poway
Poway TV mounting tends to involve larger rooms than the coastal cities — bigger lots, bigger houses, and a lot of two-storey great rooms with a fireplace on the tall wall. That combination produces the most common mistake I see: a screen mounted high above a firebox because that is where the space is, in a room where you sit low and far back. I will tell you honestly if I think the height will bother you within a month, then mount it wherever you decide.
