Smart Garage Opener Add-On
This adds phone control to the garage opener you already have. The module mounts near the motor, plugs into a standard outlet, and wires to the same low-voltage terminals your wall button uses. If your door and opener work today, they keep working — they just answer the app too.
No deposit. Pay when it's done. Or call John on (619) 928-6500.

Will this work with my opener?
Most openers made since the mid-90s, yes. Some need a small extra adapter. Send me a photo of the label on the motor unit and I'll tell you before you buy anything.
Can you replace the whole opener instead?
No — that's a different job with hardwired power and spring tension involved, and I don't take it on. It's on my referral list, so ask and I'll point you at someone who does it properly.
What if there's no outlet up there?
Then this isn't the job for you yet. Adding an outlet is permit-triggering electrical work that needs a licensed electrician. Get that done first and I'll come do the smart part.

Smart garage opener installation in San Diego
Adding phone control to a garage opener is one of the highest-value small installs in San Diego, for an unglamorous reason: an enormous share of the county's housing is attached-garage tract built between 1960 and 2005, and for most of those households the garage is the door everyone actually uses. Knowing from the freeway that you left it open — or closing it from the office — solves a genuine daily anxiety that a front-door lock does not touch.
This is an add-on to the opener you already have, on the existing low-voltage terminals and the existing outlet. I am not replacing openers, touching springs, or running new power. If your garage has no outlet near the motor, that is new electrical work needing a permit and a licensed electrician, and it has to happen before I can help. Text me a photo of the label on your motor unit and I will tell you which module fits before you spend anything.
Send a photo of the spot. I'll confirm $79.
If the photo shows something that changes the price, you'll know before I drive out — not after.
