What's different about TV Mounting here
Old Escondido is a designated historic neighbourhood with homes going back to the 1880s and 1890s. Behind the plaster there you might find lath, you might find shiplap, and occasionally you find something I haven't seen before. I take those slowly and I don't guess — if a pilot hole tells me something unexpected, I stop and show you rather than pressing on. If your property carries a historic overlay, that generally concerns exterior changes rather than an interior TV mount, but it's worth knowing where you stand.
Rancho San Pasqual, Hidden Meadows and the newer tracts off Bear Valley Parkway are 1990s and later with vaulted ceilings and conventional framing — quick, predictable work. Escondido runs genuinely hot in late summer, regularly over 100°F, so I book inland work for mornings and would rather move your slot than mount a heavy TV badly at three in the afternoon.
Before you book, from Escondido
If you're in Old Escondido, tell me the approximate build year and send a photo with an outlet cover off if you can — hundred-year-old walls vary enormously and I would rather know than discover. Everywhere else in the city, a wall photo and the TV model is plenty. Ask for a morning slot in summer regardless of where you are: an August afternoon in this valley is genuinely unpleasant to work in and careful work gets harder as the day heats up.
Getting to you
Escondido runs hot — regularly over 100°F inland in late summer. I book attic, ceiling, and exterior work here for mornings, and I'd rather move your slot than do a fan install badly at 3pm in August.

Do you supply the mount?
No — you buy the mount that fits your TV and your wall, and I install it. That keeps the price flat and means you own a part you can take with you. If you're not sure which one to get, text me the TV model and I'll tell you what to look for.
What if my wall isn't drywall over studs?
Plaster and lath, brick, and concrete all take longer and need different anchors. Text me a photo of the wall and I'll tell you before I come out whether the price changes.
Can you hide the cords inside the wall?
I route and tuck cords along the wall and behind furniture as part of every mount. Running new cable inside a finished wall is a separate job — ask and I'll quote it.
Can you mount above a fireplace?
Usually yes. Height and heat matter, so send a photo of the fireplace and the space above it first and I'll tell you honestly whether it's a good idea for that particular setup.

TV mounting in Escondido
Escondido is the furthest regular drive I make, so it works the same way as Carlsbad: batched into a North County day with a couple of time options rather than one fixed slot. It is worth putting more than one job on the visit while I am up there. The housing runs from genuinely old stock near Grand Avenue to conventional newer development north and east, so telling me roughly when the house was built does more for the estimate than the address does. If the room has a tall ceiling, say so — Escondido great rooms usually want the height decided standing in the room rather than over text.
