That raises both power and WiFi questions, and I check signal at the intended spot before mounting rather than after. Older Leucadia and Cardiff cottages frequently lack exterior outlets, which points to battery or solar; solar works genuinely well in this climate as long as the panel isn't under the same tree causing the false triggers.

Is $149 for all my cameras or each one?
Each one. Two cameras is $298 — or $349 for the Perimeter Watch bundle, which adds a video doorbell. Multiple cameras in one visit is always cheaper per camera than having me out twice.
Can you run power to a spot with no outlet?
No. Adding a new exterior outlet or circuit needs a permit and a licensed electrician, and that's outside what I do. Battery and solar models solve this well, and I'll happily mount those anywhere.
Will the camera reach my WiFi out there?
That's the question worth asking before you buy. I check signal at the mounting spot as part of the job. If it's marginal, a mesh point usually fixes it — that's $149 and I can do both in one visit.

Encinitas cameras are a corrosion problem before they are anything else. This close to the ocean, the mounting screws and the cable connector fail long before the camera does, and a unit that fogs internally after eighteen months is almost always a water-ingress problem at the connector rather than a faulty device. Stainless fixings and a drip loop so water runs away from the connection is the whole difference. It costs five minutes and it is why I ask how close to the water you are.
